# Ranking System

## How rankings are computed

All three leaderboards — Particle Points, Referrals, and Volume — are computed **server-side** from verified activity: the same verified transactions and actions that award PP, referral commission, and volume credit. Display names and avatars (set on your Profile) are cosmetic and never affect rank.

| Particle Points | Total PP earned, all-time             | Continuous                |
| Referrals       | Referral signups + commission earned  | Snapshot, every few hours |
| Volume          | Verified swap volume through DustSwap | Continuous                |

## Your own rank

When your wallet is connected, each board shows **your own row and rank** even if you're outside the visible page — you don't need to scroll to find yourself.

## Pagination

Boards are paginated; you can page through the full standings beyond the visible top entries.
