# Tokenomics

# \$DUST Tokenomics

\$DUST is the native token of Dustswap, issued on Base with a fixed supply of 100,000,000. This page sets out the complete supply breakdown: what each allocation funds, how much unlocks at TGE, and the vesting schedule that governs every remaining token.

## Token overview

| | |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **Ticker** | \$DUST |
| **Network** | Base |
| **Total supply** | 100,000,000 (fixed) |
| **Unlocked at TGE** | 18,000,000 (18% of total supply) |
| **Locked at TGE** | 82,000,000 (82% of total supply) |
| **Liquidity routing** | OpenOcean routed liquidity |

## Allocation

The full supply is divided across five allocations. No portion of the supply sits outside this table.

| Allocation | Share | Tokens |
| ------------------- | -------- | --------------- |
| Ecosystem | 30% | 30,000,000 |
| Liquidity & CEX | 20% | 20,000,000 |
| Community & Airdrop | 20% | 20,000,000 |
| Team & Investor | 20% | 20,000,000 |
| Marketing | 10% | 10,000,000 |
| **Total** | **100%** | **100,000,000** |

## What each allocation funds

**Ecosystem (30%)**
Reserved for strategic partnerships, developer grants, and building core products that expand protocol utility.

**Liquidity & CEX (20%)**
Provides depth to \$DUST markets and supports market stability across exchange venues.

**Community & Airdrop (20%)**
Distributed to early adopters and active users, so that ownership is broadly held rather than concentrated at launch.

**Team & Investor (20%)**
Long-term allocation for the core team and backers, subject to a cliff and linear vesting so that incentives track the protocol's progress rather than its launch.

**Marketing (10%)**
Dedicated budget for awareness and user acquisition, including creators, community campaigns, and partnerships.

## Vesting and release schedule

Each allocation unlocks on its own schedule. Percentages in the TGE Unlock column apply to that allocation, not to total supply.

| Allocation | TGE unlock | TGE tokens | Cliff | Vesting period |
| ------------------- | ---------- | -------------- | -------- | --------------------------- |
| Ecosystem | 0% | 0 | None | 36 months, linear |
| Liquidity & CEX | 50% | 10,000,000 | None | 24 months, linear |
| Community & Airdrop | 20% | 4,000,000 | None | Partner dependent |
| Team & Investor | 10% | 2,000,000 | 2 months | 12 months, linear |
| Marketing | 20% | 2,000,000 | None | One third released annually |
| **Total** | | **18,000,000** | | |

The Ecosystem allocation, the single largest share of supply, releases nothing at TGE and vests linearly over three years. Team & Investor tokens are the only allocation behind a cliff, and begin releasing two months after TGE.

## Supply position at TGE

| Allocation | Unlocked at TGE | Still locked | Locked share of allocation |
| ------------------- | --------------- | -------------- | -------------------------- |
| Ecosystem | 0 | 30,000,000 | 100% |
| Liquidity & CEX | 10,000,000 | 10,000,000 | 50% |
| Community & Airdrop | 4,000,000 | 16,000,000 | 80% |
| Team & Investor | 2,000,000 | 18,000,000 | 90% |
| Marketing | 2,000,000 | 8,000,000 | 80% |
| **Total** | **18,000,000** | **82,000,000** | **82%** |

Of the 18,000,000 tokens released at TGE, 10,000,000 (56% of the TGE release) goes to liquidity rather than to any discretionary holder.

## Release profile after TGE

The following rates follow directly from the schedule above.

* **Ecosystem** releases 30,000,000 evenly across 36 months, approximately 833,333 \$DUST per month, starting at TGE.
* **Liquidity & CEX** releases its remaining 10,000,000 evenly across 24 months, approximately 416,667 \$DUST per month.
* **Team & Investor** releases its remaining 18,000,000 evenly across 12 months after a 2 month cliff, 1,500,000 \$DUST per month, fully vested 14 months after TGE.
* **Marketing** releases its remaining 8,000,000 in annual tranches of one third.
* **Community & Airdrop** releases its remaining 16,000,000 on a partner dependent schedule, tied to distribution programs rather than a fixed calendar.

Ecosystem is the last allocation to finish vesting, at month 36.

> **Important**
> The figures on this page describe the intended token structure. A TGE date has not been announced, and \$DUST is not available to buy, claim, or pre-register for today. Particle Points (PP) are a separate, off-chain progression system with no monetary value. See [Risk Disclosures](/docs/security/risk-disclosures) and [PP Rewards](/docs/rewards/pp-rewards).

> **User Safety Note**
> Dustswap operates only through `app.dustswap.wtf` and the official Discord. There is no presale, no allowlist purchase, and no official $DUST contract address published anywhere else. Treat any account, site, or DM offering $DUST allocations as a scam. See [User Safety](/docs/security/user-safety) and [Official Links](/docs/introduction/official-links).
